We are not doing our usual gift card promotion for the Arrgh Billy Members. However, there will be a promotion at every Murphy's restaurant for gift cards. Check back for the details!!!

It is always best to call The Pub to make a reservation, to ensure there is availability for the day and time that you prefer. 

Hi, you can go to repaeatrewards.com and sign up and sign in to check your balance, what offers are coming up, edit your mailing address, etc. If you have just signed up, you didn't get the email regarding the June Newsletter, but you will receive future emails. If you require further assistance, please email infomerchantmanpub [dot] com!

During your next visit to the pub, you can leave your name and new address with your server. Or you can email infomerchantmanpub [dot] com with your new information.

Gift cards do not expire. Any Murphy Group of Restaurant store can tell you the remaining balance on your card.

• For parties of 16 people or less, the Chart room can be booked, with other reservations in the room also.
  
• For groups wanting a private party, Gooner's can be booked for the entire night with a $200 room charge.
  
• The reservation must be confirmed with exact numbers 24 hours in advance - if not, it will be cancelled.
  

• For parties of 16 people or more, the Chart room can be booked, with other reservations in the room also.
  
• For groups wanting a private party, Gooner's can be booked for the entire night with no room charge. (Gooner's can seat 24 people).
  
• If Gooner's is booked and a private party is wanted, a room charge for the Chart room will be $500. (For parties with numbers between 28-34 there will be no room charge).
  
• The reservation must be confirmed with exact numbers 24 hours in advance - if not, it will be cancelled.
  

• Cocktail and stand-up receptions in Gooner's and the Chart room require a minimum food order from the Hors D'oeuvres menu.
  

• New Year's Eve reservations require a credit card number with a $25 deposit per person.
  
• New Year's Eve reservations must be confirmed by December 18th. A full refund will be given if cancelled on or before the 18th. If cancelled after the 18th, NO refund will be given.
  

We have a membership program called "Arrgh Billy" where you can earn points and receive gift certificates and cards from us for you birthday and anniversary.

We encourage all our guests to become involved with Pub fundraising activities. Our annual golf tournament is the weekend after Labour Day and our curling tournament is in April.

If you don't have time to sit and have lunch, coffee or dessert, The Galley can help. Each morning fresh coffee, cinnamon buns, muffins and other treats are made. You can order sandwiches on assorted breads, salads, soup and desserts all to go home or to your office. We also take special catering orders for lunch.

Because our menu items are made and prepared here at The Pub, we have the ability to modify menu items to meet most dietary concerns such as food allergies and gluten free items. Please call and inquire if you have a special need.

All our menu items are available "to go". Give us a call ahead of time and we can recommend items that will work for you.

Whether your party is at your home or here at The Merchantman, we can assist you in your planning. For out-of-house catering, we can work with you, help with suggestions and help you have a function for up to 75 guests. For in-house, we have the "Chart Room" and "Gooner's". The Chart Room can seat up to 35 people or for stand up receptions, can hold up to 60 people. Gooner's can seat 24 people and for stand up receptions, can hold up to 35 people. We have an extensive hors d'oeuvre menu and we can also prepare special three course menus for your group.

The Merchantman Pub is always happy to try to meet special needs and requirements. We are wheelchair accessable and have a dedicated wheelchair washroom.

It is a special bar and sitting area with a much quieter atmosphere. Gooner's is serviced by the same kitchen as the Pub, allowing Gooner's to serve the same food as the Pub Menu. Gooner's can seat up to 24 people for dinner and for stand up cocktail parties it can accommodate up to 35 people. Gooner's is very popular for special parties and meetings.

While the deck is open during the summer, Gooner's is not available for provate functions. 

The Pub is open from 11 a.m. until midnight every day. The kitchen is open from 11:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day.

The majority of the time, in the off season, we are able to accommodate everyone. During the busy summer season and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, we recommend you call and make a reservation. For large groups of 8 or more, a reservation is required.
